| Solid support among Democratic and independent voters helped Rep. Martin Heinrich keep a lead over Republican challenger Jon Barela in the Albuquerque-based 1st Congressional District race, a new Journal Poll found. | Congressman Martin Heinrich hosted a large town hall meeting on health care reform Saturday afternoon, and while there was plenty of yelling on both sides, things stayed relatively civil. Around 700 to 800 people gathered at the UNM Continuing Education center Saturday to discuss health care reform. |

Martin Heinrich, who faces some of those voters today at a town hall meeting in Albuquerque.
